Why convert a file if Claude accepts uploads?

Direct uploads can be convenient. Markdown gives you greater visibility into the extracted text and makes the source portable across tools and workflows.

Can I use the Markdown with Claude Code?

Yes. Markdown is a natural format for repository documentation, specifications and reference files, subject to your own project and security practices.

Does cleanup reduce Claude usage costs?

Cleaner context can reduce the amount of input text, but actual usage and billing depend on the Claude product, model and interface you use.

Should I remove every repeated section?

Remove content only when it is genuinely redundant. Repeated definitions or warnings may be important in some documents.

Does TokenPig store my document?

TokenPig states that files are processed temporarily and deleted after conversion. Review the current privacy policy before using sensitive material.
